A private memorial service was held yesterday in honor of Apple's former CEO - Steve Jobs who passed away last week after battling cancer for several year. The service was held at Stanford University's Memorial Church and had some prominent attendees.
Former President Bill Clinton, U2's Bono and News Corp Chief CDO Jon Miller were there to pay their respects to Jobs, from Apple Tim Cook and Scott Forstall were also among the attendees. The Stanford area was heavily populated with Police and security to ensure privacy.
Meanwhile the Apple iPhone 4S has been breaking records, outselling it's counterparts and it's own previous portfolio. Being closely associated with Jobs, the iPhone 4S sales seam like a tribute to Jobs' contribution to technology through his company.
Apple's employees will hold a separate celebration to remember Steve Jobs on October 19th at the company headquarters in Cupertino.
