Firefox 7 has been released by Mozilla for the Android platform alongside it's desktop client counterparts. The download is available to users from the Android Market. The major focus of this update seams to be the copy and paste feature. You can copy text from within the Firefox browser and paste it in other applications. Another feature is that the browser automatically detects and adjusts it's language when it is first launched. The update also includes the WebSockets API which will allow developers to build more responsive web apps and web sites.

The mobile version of Android seams to be keeping in par with the desktop version in terms of updates, since they are supposed to share the same core, we assume that the mobile version will also benefit from the memory and performance improvements which were made on the desktop client.
