Windows Phone marketplace has been around for about a year now, but has only been available in a few countries. This has now changed with 19 new countries being added to this list allowing users to officially download their apps. The new countries are:

  • Brazil
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Japan

  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Russia
  • South Africa
  • South Korea
  • Sweden
  • Taiwan

The Developer countries have also been expanded and we should probably see all teh countries in the list above open to developers as wells soon. Other updates to the marketplace include updated price tiers, App Hub localization, improvements to mobile in-app advertising new private distribution of applications for beta apps and enhanced application management.
