Apple iOS 4.3.5 released



Apple has released iOS 4.3.5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. This update is said to fix a critical security issue.

Apple released iOS 4.3.4 earlier this month with a goal of fixing the PDF exploit which was used in the JailBreakMe 3.0 jailbreak method.

You can download this update to your device by connecting it to iTunes on your PC or Mac. You can also use the links below to download the firmware file and manually install the update.

Once you download the official firmware file, you can restore it using iTunes:
  • Open iTunes
  • Locate your device on the sidebar
  • Press Restore while holding Shift (Alt in Mac) key 
  • Browse to where you saved the file and select it
  • Allow iTunes to update your firmware and follow the prompts
