Symbian Anna publicly available by August


The latest update to the Symbian OS platform, code-named Anna was significant as it brought much needed performance improvements along with a new UI to the Symbian platform.

This update was first introduced back in April and we later saw the Nokia X7 and the Nokia E6 running this new version of Symbian.

The Symbian Anna update will be in available for the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01 in August and will be available out of the box for these handsets for anyone purchasing  them after July.



The new update will offer a new set of icons, updated faster web browser, improved text input and enhanced maps along with other security and performance updates. To get detailed information of the upcoming featuring in this update head over to Nokia's official post.
