The Nokia and Microsoft partnership has had the world eagerly waiting for the first Windows Phone from Nokia. It looks like we may be in for some luck with the first potential device seeing the light of day for the first time from Nokia CEO Stephen Elop himself, during a recent press conference.
The device which will run Windows Phone Mango and codenamed Sea Ray, resembles the recently announced Meego powered Nokia N9 with button free full touch interface, 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and the curved pillow like display. To keep with Microsoft's requirement for hardware keys for certain functions, the Nokia Windows Phone will feature virtual buttons for the Windows key, Search and back functions.
Has Nokia impressed with their first Windows Phone ? I would have loved to see the N8's successor as the first Windows Phone from Nokia, but i guess we will have to wait for that. Leave your comments below.
