Apple iPhone 4 comes to Verizon
The Apple iPhone 4 is finally coming to Verizon, It was surprising that the announcement was not made during CES 2011, and we also expected Apple to take the spotlight with the announcement. But its official now and you can see the Verizon website has reflected whats to come:
The announcement was made at an event held in New York city with Apple's COO Tim Cook, joining Verizon's President and COO Lowell McAdam on the stage to present the upcoming partnership.
The Apple iPhone 4 for Verizon which will be CDMA based (non LTE) and have the same features as it's AT&T counterpart. It will be available on the 10th February 2011 at $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model with a 2 year contract. Mobile Hotspot will also be available for the iPhone 4 allowing up-to 5 devices to be connected to it. You can pre-order the device starting February 3rd.
The Verizon iPhone will feature iOS 4.2.5
