[NOTE] This process deals with modifying files on your iPhone. This process can cause damage to the structure of your iPhone's firmware and you are advised that you are doing this at your own risk. Please backup your data before you proceed. Feel free to ask any questions you may have before proceeding.
- Jailbreak your iPhone: You can find a jailbreak guide for your device here.
- - Install 'Open SSH' on your iPhone - You can find this under Cydia by searching for 'Open SSH'. It is advised to reboot your device after installing 'Open SSH'.
- - You need to connect to your iPhone 3GS from your computer. You need to download Cyberduck (for Mac) or WinSCP (for windows) to SFTP connect to your device.
- CyberDuck
- Server: The IP address of your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. Settings –> WiFi –>
- Username: root
- Password: alpine
- Protocol: SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)
- WinSCP
- Hostname: The IP address of your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. Setting –> WiFi –>
- User name: root
- Password: alpine
- Protocol: SCP

- Download HDVideo3GS.zip from here or here.
- - Navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ and copy N88AP.plist into the location.
- - Now navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework/N88/ and copy AVCapture.plist, CameraRollValidator.plist and MediaValidator.plist files into the location.
That's it. Restart your iPhone and you should be good to go...
