Facebook users of Android have not had the luxury of a full featured Facebook app until now, but that is about to change. Facebook for Android is now available in the Android Market. Facebook for Android lets you scan your news feed, view your friends' walls and user information, comment on status updates, hit the "like" button, take and upload photos, add new friends and post status updates of your own.

The Facebook for Android app also features a notification widget for your home screen which you can shake to refresh for the latest updates from your feed. Unfortunately Facebook Chat or access to your messages are still not available in the app and will hopefully be added in future updates.
