PlayStation mobile store launches for Sony and HTC devices


The Sony PlayStation mobile store has now launched for the Sony PS Vita, Sony mobile devices and select HTC handsets which have partnered with Sony.

A total of 20 titles will be available at launch and we hope the list will continue to grow as more partners publish their games on the store. The store is currently available to users in Japan, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia

Angry Birds Trilogy - Now available for gaming consoles

A couple of months ago we reported that Rovio had announced Angry Birds Trilogy for gaming consoles. It seams that time as come as the game has now landed for the Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and Nintendo 3DS.

The Angry Birds Trilogy combines game play from the original Angry BirdsAngry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.

Angry Birds Trilogy - Coming to gaming consoles

531169_10151027748569928_1528351384_nAngry Birds has gone on to become a global phenomenon spanning multiple mobile and desktop platforms. Now Rovio, the makers of the hit game are planning to bring the game to modern gaming consoles including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS.

The trilogy will include the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio and will be released in December this year ,making it a great Christmas gift for Angry Birds fans.

Electronic Arts releases official gameplay trailer for Crysis 3

Following the release of a tease trailer a couple of days ago, Electronic Arts has now unveiled the official trailer of Crysis 3. The gameplay trailer gives us a better glimpse of what we can expect when the game is released in 2013 for the Xbox 360,  PlayStation 3 and the PC.

PlayStation Portable will get PS3 Remote Play

Sony may not have been very successful with the PlayStation Portable in a gaming market dominated by Nintendo's offerings but is set on getting back on top with the PlayStation Vita (PSV). Now the Vita is in a market where it has to compete with mobile gaming which has taken the world by storm. But Sony is planning on trumping the competition with the claim that the PSV will offer PlayStation 3 level gaming in the palm of your hand.

Sony PlayStation Vita officially announced


Sony has officially unveiled a new handheld gaming console named the as the successor to the company's PlayStation Portable. The device is set for release in Japan and parts of Asia on December 17 and on February 22, 2012 in the U.S. and in Europe.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will load all PS1 games

A few days ago I was reading an article which said that by 2015 mobile devices will be able to handle the gaming graphics of modern consoles. While I do feel we are far from reaching that point Its something that got my attention.

One smartphone which is already taking steps towards getting there is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play which plays PlayStation One games. While the device only plays games games from it's dedicated market, a developer has worked on a hack that allows to load any PS1 game from an ISO image and play it on the Xperia gaming device.

Sony announces PlayStation app for iOS and Android

Sony has just announced that they will be bringing official PlayStation apps to both iOS and Android platforms. This was confirmed on the official PlayStation blog by Sony, who stated that the app will be compatible with iPhones and iPod Touches running iOS 4.x and on Android devices running Android 1.6 and greater.

Sony Ericsson - Playstation Phone

The upcoming Playstation Phone from Sony Ericsson runs Android Gingerbread OS and features a slide out keypad. Many rumors have been circulating about this device in the recent past, including photos and a not so clear video. Recently however some much nicer videos have emerged on YouTube displaying the device clearly.

The rumored specs include a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB Rom and a screen-size which would be between 3.7 - 4.1 inches. The device is said to have a custom Sony Store which will allow it's users to download games specially for this device.

The PlayStation Phone is expected to be released early in 2011 probably around February. Check the videos of a closer look at the device below:
