Asus Padfone Infinity receives Android 4.4 KitKat

The Asus PadFone Infinity (A80) is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update, alongside the Asus Fonepad Note 6. The new software brings all the enhancements you would expect from KitKat along with several changes from Asus. The detailed changelog follows after the break.

Asus PadFone Infinity - Hands On Video

The Asus PadFone Infinity is a great device offering users a combination of a phone and tablet in one. The device features a 5.0 inch touch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

Asus has chosen to build the device with aircraft grade aluminum alloy with a brushed metal finish which gives the handset a premium feel. Despite its premium materials Asus has managed to keep the device light at 141 grams and only 8.9 mm thin.
