Now the carrier has confirmed that the Nokia Lumia 635 with Windows Phone 8.1 will be available on July 25, through the AT&T GoPhone program for just $99.99. Post paid customers can purchase the smartphone on August 8 for $139.99

T-Mobile will be first U.S. carrier to offer the Lumia 635 with Windows Phone 8.1

Nokia Lumia 635T-Mobile has announced on Tuesday, that it will be offering the Nokia Lumia 635 with Windows Phone 8.1 on its network. This makes the nation's fourth largest carrier the first in the U.S. to offer the device. The Lumia 635 features a 4.5 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, 4G LTE connectivity a 5 megapixel rear camera and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.

Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 receive update to fix bugs and improve performance


Microsoft is rolling out a software update to the Nokia Lumia 630 and the Nokia Lumia 635, which reportedly brings several fixes and improvements to the device. Lumia 630 users have apparently been facing several bugs on the newly launched device, and this update sets out to fix that.

The Nokia Lumia 635 is now available for pre-order in the U.S. through the Microsoft Store. You can select between the Lumia 635 for AT&T, which is priced at $99, or the Lumia 635 for T-Mobile which will cost you $129.  Both phones are free of contracts and costs lesser than the $189 retail price of the smartphone.

Alongside the Nokia Lumia 930, Stephen Elop also announced the Nokia Lumia 630 and the Nokia Lumia 635 during Microsoft's BUILD 2014 keynote. This pair of affordable Windows Phone 8.1 devices, aim to follow in the footsteps of the  Lumia 521 and Lumia 520, by bringing “an uncompromised Microsoft experience and Lumia experience at low price points”.
