The Samsung Galaxy Round has been officially announced as the first smartphone to come with a curved display. The Galaxy Round specs include a 5.7 inch curved touch display with a 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM.The device is expected to launch in Korea on October 10th and is priced at 1.09 million won. The Galaxy Round will initially be offered in Luxury Brown only, but more colors are expected at a later time. Samsung has made use of the curved display technology to bring some interesting features to one of the first devices of its class.
