Upload to SkyDrive (beta) arrives for Nokia 5800, 5530, 5230, 5233

Recently the option to ‘Upload to SkyDrive’ was released for Nokia Belle devices as a software update. Now the ‘Upload to SkyDrive’ beta app has been released for the Nokia 5800, Nokia 5530, Nokia 5230 and the Nokia 5233 through the Nokia BetaLabs. The app will allow users to copy photos and contacts from the device to Microsoft Live cloud service SkyDrive, where they can be easily accessed with mobile or desktop devices.

Nokia 5530 receives software update

The Nokia 5530 has received a firmware update which brings Symbian Anna style web browsing to the Symbian^1 platform. A previous report from Nokia talked about bringing he Symbian Anna UI to older handsets with the intention of unifying the Symbian experience for users across all Symbian devices, and it seems like Nokia is taking the first step towards making this a reality.

Nokia 5530 receives (32.007) software update

The Nokia 5530 has received a firmware update taking it to version 32.007. You can get this update using Nokia's software updater. The device features a 2.9 inch touch display, 70MB of internal storage, 4GB microSD storage, a 3.2 megapixel camera and is powered by 434 MHz processor with 128 MB of RAM.

Nokia 5530 receives (30.0.009) software update

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has just received a software update taking it to version 30.0.009. You can download the update to your device using Nokia Software Update.

This update bring universal kinetic scrolling to the device among other updates. The web browser has been updated to version 7.2.3 adding full screen mode by default and improved kinetic scrolling. Shazam and Ovi Sync have been added to the device.
