The Sony Xperia Tablet Z may have held the crown for being the thinnest and lightest 10 inch tablet last year, but the company is ready to do it again this year with the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is a great improvement over its record-setting predecessor. It is even thinner, with a much faster chipset, a better display, and excellent sound output. All of this is priced at a somewhat reasonable 500 USD or EUR for the basic 16 GB Wi-Fi model. Keep in mind that micro SD storage expansion is also an option with this device which also happens to be water resistant and includes an IR blaster.
So unless you are considering an Apple iPad Air and the iOS ecosystem, it looks like the Xperia Z2 Tablet maybe the best Android tablet in the market right now.
