While Nokia isn't the industry leader in smartphones anymore, it has been well known for throughout all these years for being very capable at taking great pictures and videos. Even before the days of the smartphone, Nokia's cameras stood out in the crowd.Photographer Richard Dorman has decided to show us the amazing evolution of Nokia phone camera by taking us on a journey that starts with the Nokia 7650. We get to see all of the devices he owned after that as we journey through 11 years taking pictures with devices like the Nokia 6600, 7610, N70, N93, N95, N8, 808 PureView and the Lumia 1020. Indeed, that's an 11-year journey through time in pictures.
Its amazing to see the improvement in image sharpness along with the vivid, rich color reproduction over the years, compared to the blurry images of the past, which were once considered the best of their time. We can only imaging how much smartphone cameras will evolve in the next 11 years.
