Qualcomm has just announced the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, which has eight 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 cores. It will be joined by the Snapdragon 610 quad-core processor, which is also 64-bit capable.Both new SoCs include Adreno 405 GPUs, and come with LTE Cat 4 support, while also integrating “critical 3G technologies, including HSPA+ (up to 42Mbps), CDMA, and TD-SCDMA.”
