Nokia 301 receives software update

The dual-SIM Nokia 301 is now receiving a major software update version 9.04. The update brings new social sharing features, WhatsApp launcher, app updates, battery life improvements, software stability, and more to the phone, checkout the full changelog after break.

The new software for the Nokia 301 has the following new features and improvements compared to the v2.33 software.

• Phone software stability & battery life improvements.
• Share to Social Accounts feature added.
• New icons for Music, Radio and Videos added.
• WhatsApp launcher, Youtube icon and Transfer app added.
• Lunar calendar support added (available in China only).
• Updated versions of Email, Facebook, Notifications, Nokia Store, Social Accounts and Twitter apps.
• General performance & usability improvements.

The v 9.04 software update is already rolling out for the Nokia 301 Dual SIM (RM-839) for users in many countries and regions FOTA (Over-the-Air). In order to install the update on your device go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Device updates, select downl. phone sw and follow the on-screen prompts.
