Its added appeal comes from its $349.99 off contract price, which makes it one of the best value for money devices in the market today. However those living in the US have the advantage of subsidized pricing, with devices like the Nokia Lumia 1520, which is offered at a mere $99.99 on contract.
With the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat combined with its optical image stabilized camera and powerful internals, the Nexus 5 is undoubtedly one of the best Android smartphones in the market. However if you prefer Windows Phone, you don't have to look any further than the Nokia Lumia 1520, which is currently the best offering available.
