HTC Butterfly S receives Android 4.3 update with Sense 5.5

The HTC Butterfly S is now receiving the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software update. Its seems the update is first beings rolled out in some European countries, like Germany, with other markets likely to follow shortly.

The update is around 746.25MB in size and includes the Sense 5.5 user interface BlinkFeed improvements. The software update carries the 2.21.708.1 software version and contains the following enhancements and bug fixes:

• Add My Picks Page to improve program management

While the HTC Butterfly S does not share the metal chassis found on the HTC One, its 5 inch full 1080p display and overall build quality are of high quality. Now that it has the Android 4.3 update out of the way, we reckon the company will start working on bringing Android 4.4 KitKat to the handset.
