After being unveiled to the world during a special press conference yesterday, the Sony Xperia Z1 is already available for pre-order on Sony's web store across 7 countries in Europe. Sony CEO Kazuo Harai has kept his promise to shorten the window between the announcement of a new device and its actual delivery to end users. Those who order the handset by September 19th will have express delivery included in their orders.The pricing in differs in various markets, with Germany offering the Xperia Z1 at the lowest price €649 ($856), while France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands can place a pre-order the device for €699 ($922).
In the United Kingdom the Xperia Z1 is priced at £599 ($936) while it will cost 5,995kr ($903) in Sweden.
You can select between the black, white and purple variants of the device and deliveries are expected to start at the end of September.
