The highly anticipated Nokia Lumia 1020 camera flagship is now available in the Indian market. The device features a 41 megapixel camera with pixel oversampling and optical image stabilization, which Nokia categorizes as PureView. The camera is built using the most advanced 6 lens ZEISS optics and comes with a powerful Xenon flash and LED flash for low light photo and video capture.Other features include a 4.5 inch touch display with a 768 by 1280 pixel HD resolution, 32GB of internal storage and a a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with wireless charging built in, but requires the purchase of the wireless charging shell which has been priced at Rs. 4,000 MRP. Nokia has also included an optional camera grip accessory with the Lumia 1020 which gives the device camera like ergonomics and extends the device's battery life. The camera grip accessory will cost you an additional Rs. 4,000 MRP. The Nokia Lumia 1020 will come in White, Yellow and Black colors and would go on sale across India starting October 11th.
Unfortunately, Nokia has not announced the price of the handset, saying it will be announced one day before market availability, on October 10th. The handset will include 1 year of complementary handset insurance plan from New India Assurance.
