However keep in mind that the update is only offered to compatible devices, so make sure your device is supported.
The Apple iOS 7.0 update is only compatible with the Apple iPhone 4, iPhone 4s or iPhone 5, your iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini and the iPod touch 5th generation. Other devices will remain on iOS 6.0 or older.
However keep in mind that not all new features of iOS 7.0 will be available across all the devices. You can check which features will be available for your device here.
As we mentioned before the update will be pushed OTA and through iTunes on September 18, 2013 which happens to be today in most parts of the world. If you prefer using iTunes as your update method, make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest version before installing the iOS update. Also make sure that you fully backup your iOS device and have it charged before installing the update.

It sometimes maybe wiser waiting a day or two before installing it if you are patient as Apple's servers will be quite busy pushing the update out to everyone at the same time.

While Apple is known to release its software updates across all regions at the same time (unlike other manufacturers), its likely that some users may receive their update ahead of others.
