[Android app] Google Wallet updated (2.0) with a new interface and wider availability

Google Wallet for Android has been updated (2.0-R133-v9-RELEASE) and with it brings a revamped interface along with new features and improvements. One of the biggest additions is the ability to send cash on the go to any adult in the US with an email address.

You can download the update directly on your device through the Google Play Store or by using the link which follows:

The Google Wallet for Android app is no longer limited to devices with NFC. This means all devices running Android 2.3 Gingerbread or above are eligible to install the application. Besides wider availability, the Google Wallet update brought on a newly designed user interface (HOLOYOLO) which brings it more in line with other Google applications.

Sending money directly from one's bank or one's Wallet account is free, while the usual fees apply if you're using a credit card. Additionally, if you're still waiting for the option to send money in Gmail, just using this app once will automatically enable that.
