[Android app] Google+ updated with notification syncing and more

Google announced that they will be bringing notification syncing to their platforms during the Google I/O conference and it looks like the feature is finally rolling out to the Google+ for Android app.

The update is currently in the process of rolling out so it may not have arrived on your device just yet. However you can keep an eye on the Google Play Store or download the app using the following link.

The notification system will be synced to the app and Google+ on the web ensuring that you only have the notifications you have missed. If messages are ignored they will also be counted as read.

Other  improvements with the update include the navigation tray items being reorganized to be "more consistent with other Google apps". You also have the ability to delete photos directly from the app, and tapping on a post will show the number of +1s, comments and reshares for that post.

The update is currently only rolling out to Android users, but Google's +Vic Gundotra says that the update is coming soon to Google+ for iOS.
