Facebook Home coming to Canada a few week after U.S. release

Facebook Home is headed to devices in the U.S. on April 12th for select devices and will be headed exclusively to U.K. exclusively through E.E.

Now we are finding out that Canadian users can enjoy the new social experience on their devices a few weeks after the U.S. release of the social launcher for Android.

The delay is due to the short exclusivity period offered to AT&T, because of their partnership with Facebook in launching the HTC First.

If you want to get access to Facebook Home on April 12th, you will have to pre-order the HTC First through AT&T, or own one of the high end Samsung or HTC handsets which will support Home at launch.

While Facebook Home will be rolled out to other smartphones in the weeks following its launch, tablet users will have to wait until the end of the year to experience the new release.
