The Nokia Lumia 822 on Verizon is receiving software release which brings software version 1532.5951.1250.1012 along with a few new features and improvements. You will receive a notification when the update is available for your device, at which point you can download and install the update. The full change-log and instructions on installing the update are as follows.It is recommended that you use Wi-Fi to download and install the update in order to avoid data charges. It is also recommended that your device is fully charged before you initiate the update. If you havent received the notification you can also manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > Phone Update > Check for updates.
Once you receive the notification to install the update click the notification message and follow the onscreen instructions to install the update. The entire process may take around 15 – 30 minutes and you will not be able to use your device during the process.
