Verizon introduces cheaper pre-paid plans

Verizon has announced two new budget-oriented pre-paid plans which are supposed to add value to your aging 3G smartphone. The cheaper option costs $60 a month and includes unlimited talk, text and 500MB of data. The second plan costs $70 a month and includes unlimited talk, text and 2GB of data.

However you may know that Verizon’s focus is mostly on their 4G LTE devices, so their 3G selection is quite poor. Especially if you are looking to purchase a pre paid handset. Therefore it may not be advisable to look into these plans if you are bringing your own device with you.

Personally we aren't extremely impressed with these prices because we have seen unlimited plans go for much lesser from other carriers. However considering that Verizon’s previous pre-paid plan was $80 a month for unlimited talk, text and a gig of data these new plans gives patrons of the network better options.
