Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for Sprint coming on November 11th


The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for Sprint will be available through the carrier on November 11th. The tablet features a 10.1 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 3 megapixel camera, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor which 1GB of RAM.

The device will run on Sprint’s 4G LTE network, runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will cost $549.99.

Sprint promises that customers will get 20% more data on its new contract data-pricing for tablets compared to its competitors. This is true in some cases where $14.99 gets you 300MB of data compared to the 250MB which is offered by Verizon. Check out some of the other comparisons of Sprint and its competitors below:

  Current Sprint customers with a smartphone contract will be able to add a tablet for just $10 with 100MB of monthly data or $15 with 1GB of monthly data based on their requirement. Sprint will also waive activation fees for 3G/4G tablets for a limited time to encorage customers to accept this offer.

Sprint smartphone customers can add Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to their account with a specially discounted rate plan that includes 1GB of data for only $15 per month or as little as $10 per month for 100MB of data on the Sprint network.
