Nokia Lumia 822 revealed, heading to Verizon

Verizon users have not been forgotten by Windows Phone, as the Nokia Lumia 822 is rumored to be making its way to the the network. The Lumia 822 looks to be a modified version of the Nokia Lumia 820, featuring heavily rounded corners and edges and running Windows Phone 8 build 9900.

The device which was previously codenamed Atlas, features a 4.3 inch display, an 8MP camera with dual LED flash and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Like all modern handsets in Verizon the Lumia 822 will feature the carriers 4G LTE connectivity.

Much like the Lumia 820, the Lumia 822 will also feature interchangeable back covers, which server multiple purposes including improving ruggedness and wireless charging.

While AT&T is set to have exclusive access to the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820, we have already heard of the Nokia Lumia 810 which will be making its way to T-Mobile. Is Verizon getting only one Lumia device or is another flagship with PureView on board in the works.

If Nokia misses their chance to offer a flagship HTC is ready to oblige with their HTC 8X.
