Microsoft gave us a special preview of Windows Phone 8 during a special media event which took place in San Francisco yesterday. Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s Windows Phone program manager led the keynote presentation and even brought in his family to demonstrate one of the innovation new features of Windows Pone – the Kids Corner.Now he is back again to give users a demonstration of all the new features you can expect from Windows Phones and how Microsoft’s approach to reinvent the smartphone around ‘you’ the user will make Windows Phones a great choice.
Windows Phone 8 shares the same kernel on Windows 8 which translates into a great collaboration between Microsoft’s desktop and mobile platforms. Windows Phone 8 will support multi-core processors and micro SD cards, allowing it to compete with Android better than it could before.
New Windows Phones will go on sale in early November giving users a chance to sample some of the newest offerings from Nokia, HTC and Samsung. But the success of Windows Phone finally lies in the hands of its users and developers. Once the devices start appearing in the market, we will know for sure. source – Microsoft
