Nokia suggests iOS 6 users try Nokia Maps

While many iOS 6.0 users cant wait for Google Maps to make its way to the Apple App Store, Nokia has an alternate solution. Nokia sent out some tweets reminding users of Nokia’s own Navteq powered mapping solution and why you should choose them over using Apple Maps.


Nokia’s first tweet read:

"Nokia Maps is award winning. There is no need to be stuck with another mapping service on your smartphone."

The company also tweeted:

"Unlike Google and Apple maps, Nokia Maps put customers at ease instead of causing anxiety."

keep in mind that Nokia Maps is not an app available in the Apple App Store., Instead you can get access my pointing your mobile browser toward http://maps.nokia.com. You will be prompted asking if you want to install a homescreen shortcut for quick access and you are ready to go.
