Windows Phone 8 currently being tested by major U.S. carriers

prod_winphone8_heroWindows Phone 8 devices are coming and they are just around the corner, and companies like Nokia and Samsung are busy readying their devices for future unveiling. Meanwhile the prototypes are silently making their rounds to cellular service providers as they test these devices and the devices are appearing on various online logs, giving us an idea of what to expect in the coming months.

Three of the major carriers including Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile are shown testing Windows Phone 8 devices while no devices seam to be running on Sprint, at least not yet. Does this mean Sprint customers wont get a chance to try out Windows Phone 8 at launch? We will just have to wait and see. Given Sprint’s huge investment on iPhone it is likely the carrier will wait and see how Windows Phone performs before they join in.

Check out some of the carriers who are testing out Windows Phone 8 devices.
