Viber for BlackBerry is a voice-over-Internet Protocol messaging client application and an alternative to Skype. On Viber, your phone number is your ID. The app syncs with your mobile contact list, automatically detecting which of your contacts have Viber.

Open BlackBerry World on your device. Do one of the following:
- On a device running BlackBerry Device software 7.1 or older, press the Menu key. Click Scan a Barcode.
- On a BlackBerry 10 device, swipe down from the top of the screen. Click Scan a Barcode.
- BlackBerry App World will instantly find the app you've selected.
