Nokia Transport for Windows Phone demonstrated

Nokia Transport is an upcoming application for the Nokia Lumia series of devices. The app is currently in Beta and available for testing through the Nokia Beta Labs portal. The application was recently demonstrated at the MWC in Barcelona demonstrating some of the advantages for users who choose a Nokia Windows Phone.

Check out the video demo which follows.

Nokia Transport automatically detects your location using the phone's GPS and all you need to do is type in where you want to go. The Transport app will map out walking directions to the nearest available transportation which could be a bus, a subway or a train. The app even provides you with an estimated time of arrival.

Nokia Transport will support 500 cities worldwide when it launches and will be a part of Nokia's application suite for Windows Phones. Nokia Transport compliments Nokia Drive and together they take care of all your travel needs.

You can try out Nokia Transport right now by download it from the Nokia Beta Labs
