[Guide] How to install Bazaar app store for Windows Phone

Bazaar is a Cydia like App Store for the Windows Phone platform. Much like iOS Windows Phone is a well monitored and closed platform. All apps which are submitted through the Windows Phone Marketplace go through a strict screening process. Apps that have been found violating guidelines are rejected and sent back for review.

Bazaar is the solution for these apps, allowing apps which have not made it past Microsoft's screening process a chance to make it to Windows Phone users around the world.
As Bazaar does not work with the Chevron-unlock tool for Windows Phone, you will have to install a custom ROM which supports installing XAP through IE9 (DFT, NextGen+ or Deepshining)
  • You need a developer-unlocked Windows Phone device. Bazaar does not work with ChevronWP7-unlocked devices. Register as a Windows Phone developer here.
  • Follow this guide to install a custom ROM on your device
  • Make sure you have Windows Phone Developer Tools and Zune Desktop Software installed on your computer
  • Keep your device unplugged until you are required to plug it in.
NOTE - Bazaar is still in beta stage, currently only official free Marketplace apps are available for display only. Installation of these apps through Bazaar will only be possible after beta testing is complete.
The guide to install the Bazaar app store on your Windows Phone device follows:
  1. Download the latest version of Bazaar on to your computer
    • Launch Windows Phone Developer Tools on your computer
    • Select Application Deployment
    • Set your Windows Phone 7 device as the Target
    • Select Bazaar.xap file you downloaded in step 1
    • Connect your Windows Phone device to your computer using the USB cable.
    • Sync with your Zune software
Go back top Windows Phone Developer Tools and click Deploy.
That's it. If you followed the steps correctly and met the requirements you should have Bazaar for Windows Phone installed on your device.
We will keep you updated as Bazaar's testing is completed and you will be able to use Bazaar as iOS users use Cydia on their iOS devices.
