The Nokia Lumia 800 is the first Windows Phone from Nokia and its now available in the U.S. through Expansys. While Nokia is working with carriers in the U.S. to bring in their Windows Phone handsets you can get an unlocked version of the Lumia 800 right now in time for Christmas.Nokia promised to bring down the prices of their handsets but it seams that the Lumia is still priced quite high at $789. Compared to the £399.95 ($618) it costs in the U.K. the pricetag may trickle down in teh months to come as Nokia Windows Phones get more popular.
The Lumia 800 features a 3.7 inch display, 8MP camera, 16GB of storage and is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor. It is available in Black, Magenta and Cyan and has Windows Phone applications like Nokia Drive and Nokia music which are unique to it's brand.
