The upcoming release is said to offer speed and performance improvements and is a part of Mozilla's rapid release plan for the Firefox browser.
This version comes six weeks after the release of Version 7 which followed Version 6 which was released a little over a month ago. Instead of focusing too much on the visual elements with this update, Firefox has been improving performance on their browser.

- Improved CSS hyphen support for many languages
