RIM is preparing BlackBerry App World 3.1 for release. The new version will allow your to download apps to your BlackBerry device without a data connection, Buy and send an app as a gift to a fellow BlackBerry user among other features.
The current version 3.0 was released to the public back in September and brought a new UI with faster app loading.
RIM has not provided news on when the beta version of 3.1 will be available for public testing or the release date of the final version.
