BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0 demonstrated

Developers who visited the BlackBerry DevCon received a beta version of BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0 for the BlackBerry Playbook. The update is expected to bring the much anticipated Android app player - which allows users to use Android applications on their BlackBerry PlayBooks. A video has been posted online demonstrating the features of BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0

Some of the new features offered in the update are:
  • Ability to personalize the home-screen.
  • Create custom pages instead of the preset pages
  • Ability to run Android apps
