Nokia has announced via twitter that they have started shipping the Nokia 701 handset. This Symbian Belle device was supposed to be available in the third quarter of 2011 and Nokia looks to be keeping their word on that.
The Nokia 701 is one of the first Symbian devices from Nokia to be powered by a 1GHz processor. It is also one of the first three to run Symbian Belle.
The Nokia 701 has a 3.2 inch touch display, 5 megapixel camera, 2GB of internal storage. The NOkia 701 closely resembles the successful design of the Nokia C7.
