[Android app] Google+ updated (1.0.7)


The Google+ for Android application has been updated to version 1.0.7 and brings the ability to initiate Hangout video chats, group message with photos and more. This update comes following the Google+ service being open to all after being in a closed beta stage since it was first introduced.

The Hangouts for the Android mobile app is one of the major features which comes with the new Google+ update. You will have to have a device running Android 2.3 or above to be able to use the video chat feature which allows you to communicate with a group of your friends at the same time.



Users can post to Google+, receive notifications and group messages using SMS. While this service is currently limited it should be available in more countries soon.

The update also offers added features like the ability to edit profile photos, customize notifications and the ability to move the Google+ app to the SD card. Along with this the application has several performance improvements and bug fixes.
