HP TouchPad price drops permanently

The HP TouchPad with WebOS could have easily inched its way passed Android tablets but has fallen short and seen price cuts from both HP and retailers. HP has now permanently reduced the price of both the 16GB and 32GB models by $100.

This brings the 16GB model to $400 and the 32GB model costs $500. HP recently also announced the HP TouchPad 4G which is set to launch at $700 could also be a reason for the price drop being made permanent.
