[Mac App] djay

The djay app which is popular on the iPhone and iPad is now available for Mac OS. The new version 4.0 brings many new features and improvements to the application.

You can download the application directly on your Mac through the Mac App Store or by using the link which follows:

Download Garageband - Apple
Price $ 19.99
Requirement OS X 10.5 or greater

Lets take a look at some of the featured changes:

iTunes Integration - With iTunes integration the djay app allows you to import your playlists directly from iTunes. You can play your music in an iTunes like interface and make use of features like Automix to mix playlists automatically with DJ transitions.

iCloud Integration - Because djay is available on both the iOS and OS X platform, it makes sense that the platform makes use of iCloud. You can prepare a track on your Mac and pick up where you left off on your iPhone or iPad. The app even supports iTunes Match so you will have access to your music collection no matter which device you use, where ever you are.

Harmonic Match - The application automatically finds songs and pairs them based on the song keys. You can even arrange your music or transpose songs into different keys allowing you to create a better sounding track.

Support for accessories - You can attach any compatible peripherals to your application. Check the Algoriddim website for compatible accessories for djay.
