Tango offers free video calls between iPhone and Android

Tango is a free video calling service that allows users to stay in touch with each other no matter where in the world they are using either their iPhones or Android Phones.

The Tango app is free and can be downloaded from App Store for the iPhone or Android Market Place for your Android Phone (Nexus One, Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Hero, Droid etc...) or by visiting the Tango website. Setting up and account takes just a few seconds and you can invite your friends or family to 'Tango' with you via email or SMS. Tango users will appear on the Tango contact list.

The App to me seams pretty much like Skype will the video feature added in already.
