Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II for Verizon receives software update

The Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II for Verizon was launched last November, but disappointing came with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich instead of the newer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Luckily it only took a few months for the handset to receive its first Jelly Bean software update.

Now it looks like the Stratosphere II is getting a new software update which is 91MB in size and carriers the I415VRBMF1 software version. It's not an update to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but its a welcome update all the same.

Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II for Verizon receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update

The Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II for Verizon is now receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update. The update is being rolled out OTA (over-the-air) and in phases starting Wednesday. You should receive a notification when the update is available for your handset, if you don't you can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > About Device > Software Updates > Check Now.
