Nokia 206 receives minor firmware update

Nokia is releasing a minor firmware update for the Nokia 206 and the Nokia 206 Dual-SIM. The updated firmware brings audio quality improvements along with general performance and quality improvements to the devices.

The Nokia 206 (RM-873) will be updated to software version 4.53, which is being offered OTA to certain European operator variants such as T-Mobile Czech, T-Mobile Poland, T-Mobile Slovakia, Tele2 Slovakia,Tele2 Hungary and Cosmote Greece. 

Meanwhile the Nokia 206 Dual SIM (RM-872) will be updated to software version 4.52 and the OTA update is being pushed to India, Pakistan and certain Middle Eastern countries.

The Nokia 206 is a feature phone which has a 2.4 inch display, up to 32GB microSD storage, FM radio and a 1.3 megapixel camera capable of video capture. The device comes in a single and dual SIM model and feature Nokia’s new ‘SLAM’ sharing technology, which allows users to share multimedia content like photos and videos with nearby friends almost instantly using Bluetooth.
