Gigabyte has announced a new series of affordable Android smartphones - the GSmart Guru, GSmart GX2, GSmart Mika M2, GSmart Arty A3 and GSmart T4. The Guru is set to arrive this month, while the later three are already available for purchase. The GX2 release date is still to be announced.
The Gigabyte GSmart Guru features a 5 inch full 1080p HD display, with 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 3000mAh battery which offers 12 hours of talk time and a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM. The Guru weighs 165 grams.
The Gigabyte GSmart GX2 features a 5 inch full 1080p HD display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel rear camera, dual SIM functionality and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 2GB of RAM. The GX2 weighs 135 grams.
The Gigabyte GSmart Mika M2 features a 5 inch HD display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 2000 mAh battery and a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Gigabyte GSmart Arty A3 features a 5 inch qHD display, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2000 mAh battery and a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Gigabyte GSmart T4 is the lowest specced device in the lineup. It features a 4 inch display with a 480 by 800 pixel resolution, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a dual-core MediaTek processor.
