Today Motorola announced the Moto Stream - a portable wireless adapter that can pair any speaker or audio system with your smartphone, tablet or computer. The Moto Stream is pretty small, weighs 140 grams, and has a multi-faced icosahedron shape.
It plugs into a speaker or stereo system, allowing you to connect it to your mobile device via Bluetooth 3.0. Thus, it brings the convenience of wirelessly streaming songs to your otherwise wired audio system. The Moto Stream supports up to five simultaneous Bluetooth connections to smartphones running Android, iOS, or Windows Phone. The device has a 300 feet range, and can even be paired via NFC.
Motorola is selling the Moto Stream starting today for $49.99, and you can get it online at the second source link below. Starting June 6, Radio Shack stores will also sell the wireless adapter. For the moment, the Moto Stream seems to be available only in the US, with no word on a possible release in other regions.
