Microsoft India has confirmed on its Twitter account, that the much anticipated Windows Phone 8.1 software update will start rolling out to current Nokia Windows Phone 8 devices in the first two weeks of July. Microsoft announced Windows Phone 8.1 at BUILD 2014 with several new features and improvements to the company's mobile platform.
The statement was made by Microsoft India in response to a query about the rollout of the upcoming update.

Microsoft recently rollout the Windows Phone 8.1 update to Lumia 925 users in Finland as part of a pilot program. And, still we don’t have any official words on exact release date for worldwide roll-out of this long awaited update.
